LinWood Real Estate was founded in 1968 by Jim McLaughlin, a life-long resident of Lincoln, NH. In 1983, the vacation home building boom began, LinWood Real Estate became the leader in marketing and selling new homes and resales. Tom Tremblay and his young family moved to Lincoln in 1983 to work at Loon Mountain.
With a construction background and degree in civil engineering, Tom was a member of the management team of Loon Mountain. He later resigned to start a property management company and then began his real estate career at LinWood. In October of 1985, Tom purchased the firm from McLaughlin, who was retiring.
Tom quickly expanded the company with an innovative marketing approach and unparalleled commitment to customer service making it the largest real estate company in the area.
In October of 2005, LinWood Real Estate became an affiliate of the prestigious Coldwell Banker, becoming Coldwell Banker LinWood Real Estate.
